On Friday the inspector was out and gave the OK to close up the floor.
On Saturday the plumber was here working on the pipes for the shower and sinks.
The sliding glass door was removed today. Below is the photo from the inside looking out to the new addition.
This is the exterior bathroom wall with all of the planking and bathroom window removed.
The section of the drywall below the window opening is what the interior tiles are attached to. Interesting to note that the bottom of the drywall is resting on the lip of the bathtub.
They're taking down all of the framing surrounding the bathroom window. The guy on the right is taking down beam above the opening where the sliding glass door used to be.
All the framing is gone from the window area.
Here's the header beam the was installed from the left of the bathroom window to right of where the sliding glass door used to be. Not called for in the plans but Rich said it was the right thing to do.
