Pencil: I'm sorry
Eraser: For what? You didn't do anything wrong.
Pencil: I'm sorry cos you get hurt bcos of me. Whenever I made a mistake, you're always there to erase it. But as you make my mistakes vanish, you lose a part of yourself. You get smaller and smaller each time.
Eraser: That's true. But I don't really mind. You see, I was made to do this. I was made to help you whenever you do something wrong. Even though one day, I know I'll be gone and you'll replace me with a new one, I'm actually happy with my job. So please, stop worrying. I hate seeing you sad. :)
I found this conversation between the pencil and the eraser very inspirational. Parents are like the eraser whereas their children are the pencil. They're always there for their children, cleaning up their mistakes. Sometimes along the way... they get hurt, and become smaller (older, and eventually pass on).
Though their children will eventually find someone new (spouse), but parents are still happy with what they do for their children, and will always hate seeing their precious ones worrying, or sad.
"All my life, I've been the pencil.. And it pains me to see the eraser that is my parents getting smaller and smaller each day.
For I know that one day, all that I'm left with would be eraser shavings and memories of what I used to have..."
This is to all the parents out there.
- received from a friend..So true. :(

Human life is built on trust. Whether it is the relationship between man and woman, friends or relatives or thy neighbors, he who trusts others lives a peaceful life because, if you do not place trust on others, your life will be in trouble. Basically, you should trust your own self and it takes years to build up a trust but just one second to destroy it. Trusting a person and then becoming suspicious of it, is like throwing stones while staying in glass house.
Trust is like a kind of mirror and once you feel a scar in it, it will never be the same again. So, trust is essential in any kind of friendship or relationship. Distrust is like a drop of ink in a blotting paper. The majority of white color will not be visible; only the drop of ink will be visible. So, think not twice, but many times before you sow the seed of distrust. A well trusted person is worth thousand friends.

Last week I spoke with my friend Susan and we decided that we were going to meet for lunch today. It’s been a month or more since we had lunch together. I was sleepy earlier when we got home from church so while I was laying down in bed my cell phone started beeping, it was a text message from Susan. We were talking and talking and exchanging stories about our lives in the Philippines.
When I started to feel homesick we changed the topic and decided where we would have lunch. Lunch was yummy. After lunch Susan and I went to our favorite store in the mall to see if there were any new outfits had arrived. None! So sad! Susan and her husband (Jerry) left but my Will and I stopped in at the Barnes and Noble to buy some new books. I bought two books for me and Will also got two books. So now I have to get busy reading my new books. But don’t worry – I’ll still have time to visit my co-bloggers.

It’s always nice feeling when you met someone nice, especially when they’re from the motherland. Well, let me tell you the reason for my statement. For the past three days I’ve been craving beef stew. Each day that I went to Goldilocks they didn’t have the beef stew or they were all sold out.
Yesterday when my Will and I were heading home I told him that I was still craving beef stew. He suggested that I call Goldilocks to find out if they have any beef stew today. Of course I don’t have their phone number. He suggested we call 411 information to ask for the phone number. After few minutes Will handed me the cell phone because the operator was connecting us to Goldilocks. When I inquired about the stew I was a bit disappointed to find out they didn’t have beef stew but they did have pork stew, an acceptable second choice (roll my eyes).
Much more interesting than the stew, inside Goldilocks it wasn’t very busy at all when I joined the short line. There was a mother and daughter ahead of me in line - they looked friendly and nice. While they were waiting for their food they were also talking to the lady who takes the orders. When Melanie’s (the daughter) mother gave me a smile I was relieved that they were different from some other Filipinos I had met recently. We just keep talking until Melanie asked to exchange phone numbers and I was so happy about it. Who knows, she could end up being a really good friend. Hopefully she not some crazy psycho nutcase!!! Her mother was really nice to me too and very friendly like her. That was my day guys and I think that it could be one of my luckiest this week.

Whew! Oh yes! The months and days fly by so fast. I never thought that I would survive using blogging as a source of income. But I have even with my hectic schedule of being a Mom and a wife.
It’s been one year and a month since I started blogging. I started blogging because a friend of mine convinced me to blog. She taught me how to blog and how to get some extra bucks. Well, believe me it was really hard for me to follow all the step by step instructions but she was so patient with me and so kind.
To be honest, I’m so glad that she never gave up on me and shared her knowledge about blogging. To you Jackie – thank you so much for your precious time to help me. Now I have some understanding about blogging and I have some extra money to go shopping because of you. Thanks! I love you te :-)

To be a true friend takes a lot of strength. There will be times when you will question why you ever got involved with this person. Times like these are the true test of friendship. It is easy to be friends when you're sharing good times and fun.
However, when the friendship is challenged you may be tempted to get up and leave. This is when the integrity of the friendship is challenged. You may feel afraid to trust and share your deepest secrets. Friendship is not for the weak of heart. True friendship takes strength.
HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND EVERYONE!!!

Friendship is the bread of life. It is essential to our well being. We could not survive without it. Ever since the beginning of time we have been extending the hand of friendship to each other. In very primitive communities, having the help of others in a crisis is a matter of survival.
However, even in today's world where it seems as if we could survive without ever talking to another human being, friendship is important. Friendship is a prerequisite to sanity. We are social human beings and we need friends to survive. We can live without boyfriend but, we cannot survive without friends.

Just because you're grown up, doesn't mean you don't need someone to confide in. In fact, logic dictates that the opposite is true. Life becomes more complex and difficult as we get older.
The people that we confide in as adults are very valuable. We usually choose our friends based on common interests that we share. We may have different friends for the variety of activities that we engage in. The important thing is that there is sense of mutual respect, and caring for each other.
