I went yesterday with two other friends who are also Stephanie Plum fans. I am not one to bash a movie simply because it is not exactly like a book. I am realistic that all the details of an author's creation can't be compressed into two hours or less. So I understand that some details had to be left out so that the main story could be told. That being said, I thought it was fun and a cute story. It was enjoyable and funny. We laughed a ton and all three of us thought the casting was fantastic. And I hope that they continue to make movies from this story line. The ending was left wide open. I do wish that the characters could have been developed more. The character of Stephanie Plum , to me, came off as being a bit more confident than the book portrays her. In the book, there is so much more of Stephanie's internal dialogue that adds to the appeal of her character.
