My Brunch

Yesterday, I had Jollibee for breakfast/lunch.  It was my first Jollibee in a long time.  I can’t remember when was the last time was that I had fried chicken with gravy and steamed rice (I have steamed rice every day).  The reason why I’m not having fried chicken/ chicken for a long time is because of my allergies.   I’m trying to avoid chicken as much as I can but today I couldn’t help it.  So, hubby went to Jollibee and got some fried chicken and extra gravy for me.

Off to Pet Club today to replenish the supply of dry cat food. Looks like we go through 17 lbs. in about about 50 days. That's .34 lbs per day. That translates to .80 cents per day or .40 cents per cat per day. $288 per year. UPDATE: IF you get the cat food on sale it's only .64 cents per day or .32 cents per day per cat. $230 per year.

One of my brothers who teaches English in Thailand visited my parents for two weeks after two years of living in Thailand. I called home and talked to him.  He told me about the house renovation and he also talked about going back to the seminary early next year.

Furthermore, he wants to be a priest like some of my Uncles who are priests in Zamboanga City. Even though he is teaching English in Thailand he is still involved in some church organizations in Thailand. He feels good about it. So, next month he will come back to the Philippines for his interview with the Bishop in Zamboanga City.  If the interview goes well he’ll be allowed to return to the seminary in Davao City. It’s going to be a long journey for him.

Eventually, he will have only few years left to become a priest. I know he can do it in God’s grace, I know in my heart he will be a good servant of God. I’m so proud to have a brother like him.  Even if he didn’t become a priest I’m still proud of him because he is my brother no matter what!
