For as long as I can remember, I really don't like to give away any information about myself. In the US you can pay your bills online or you can send your application to any company you want. It's very common nowadays to fill out a form online.
One thing that I'm not really comfortable about is using the internet and sharing my personal information. That’s the primary reason I'm not really active on some of the social networks. They ask too many personal questions and I don't like want to share my personal information.
Nevertheless, the other day I was devastated when I found that my personal profile was not private. Everyone could see phone numbers, names, and my home address. It wasn't cool at all. It was frustrating! You know there so many crazy people out there. I had to search about removing personal information from the internet so I didn’t have to worry about it day and night.
I'm a very private kind of person. In this day and age it only makes sense to not share your personal information especially with those people that you don’t even know. For me, privacy and safety is a must. Now, that I have family/kids their safety is the most important thing to me.
Watching all the news about kidnapings, oh dear! It just freaks me out! We can’t trust anybody in this world any more. I don’t want to put my family’s safety in danger because of the information I have on the internet. I have to take action!
