At work by 7:00.
Home by 1:00. We got to the DMV parking lot by 1:20 or so. There are at least 10 cars prowling for spots. Hubby dropped me off so I could get in line. By the time he park the car on the street and get inside I already had my number. The DMV office is really packed. He go back to the office. At 3:30 or so my number is called. For anyone keeping track that's a 2 hour wait. I discovers that I can't pay the fee with a credit card. I had a debit card but can't remember the PIN. I got $26 cash. I needs $28. I get the call. I call the bank to see if we can change the PIN over the phone. Yes, but only if you know the old PIN. The DMV clerk tells me that he'll be working until 4:30. If I can't figure out how to pay the fee by then I'll have to pull a new number and start all over. Hubby leave work 15 minutes early and make it to the DMV office by 4:10. Still a million people there. We get the fee paid.
While I'm stay to take the written test hubby heading to the Pacifica Planing Department to pick up the "corrections" for the addition. Then he head back over to pick me up by 5:00. We go home. It's been a long day.
